I have been a fan of Opening Ceremony since the first time I stepped into the SOHO store in 2002. So, to be asked to have an exclusive line of wreaths for NY and LA was a dream come true. Carol Lim, by way of Rafael de Cardenas is a fan and when the team at OC were planning their holiday shop they asked me to create a line of holiday ornaments and I did not disappoint. I created an edition of 25 miniature bell jars, an homage to the classic Brian de Palma version of "Carrie". Finding 25 unique barbie doll hands was actually harder than you think. Waste not, want not...I used the rest of the doll carcasses to create an unholy selection of ornaments Ed Gein would have been proud to display.
